Treatment

The basis of our outpatient programs are to provide group therapy to adults. Clients engaged in our partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs typically stay in treatment for 2-4 weeks, depending on the specific needs of the individual. If you are suffering from depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, or another type of mental health concern, our Mental Health PHP may be right for you. Services in this program will help you learn to manage your symptoms and teach you the skills needed to better handle current and future stress. Our staff will also support you during every step of your healing journey and encourage you to continue making positive progress along the way.

Located in Valdosta, we offer multiple levels of care for adolescents and adults of all genders, including inpatient and outpatient programs. We also provide a detailed discharge plan for every patient to ensure that they have the resources they need to continue their progress long after their time with us. Greenleaf Behavioral Health Hospital offers 113 beds and specializes in treating children, teens, and adults with mental health and substance use concerns.

This 28-day program combines medical and therapeutic services to help patients navigate the early stages of recovery. Detox, which lasts around three to seven days, is a crucial part of this process. Overseen by our medical director, nurses, and nurse practitioners, detox promotes physical stability, enhances mental clarity, and paves the way for long-term healing.

Our adult inpatient program is designed to address urgent symptoms and prepare patients for further care. The length of stay can range from five to 12 days, depending on the individual’s needs and the severity of their symptoms. Greenleaf equips clients facing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders with the comprehensive support needed for lasting recovery. Understanding the complexity of dual diagnoses, the care team conducts thorough assessments and delivers integrated treatment plans that address both conditions simultaneously. This concurrent approach significantly increases the likelihood of long-term success.

You can admit to this center with a primary substance use disorder or a primary mental health condition. Additionally, Greenleaf will refer clients to follow-up services depending on their needs. We provide age-appropriate inpatient care for young people ages to help them regain a sense of physical and emotional safety. Once the assessment is complete, one of our physicians will review it in order to determine the level of care that will most appropriately meet your needs. If you meet the criteria for inpatient care, you will begin the process of entering treatment immediately. In a residential rehab program, patients live onsite, with access to daily treatment and 24-hour care. In a PHP, patients live at home but follow an intensive schedule of treatment.
